Trajneri i Manchester City-t, Pep Guardiola, ka shigjetuar trajnerët e tjerë të Premier Leagues që po justifikohen në lidhje me rezultatet e dobëta dhe faktin që “Qytetarët” po fitojnë kampionatin. Nuk mund të mungonte dhe kunji i tij për trajnerin Jurgen Klopp.
“Të gjithë mendojnë për justifikime në momentin që ankohen. Kur mendon për justifikime nuk mendon për të luajtur mirë. Justifikimet nuk ndihmojnë në sport.
“Nuk gjykoj fjalët e trajnerëve të tjerë. Trajneri Klopp tha se ne duhet të qëndrojmë 2 javë pushim. Si mund të ndodhë kjo, nuk e kuptoj se si mund të ndodhë”, – tha ai.
Pep gives the pot one final stir: “You are looking for excuses when you complain. When you make excuses you can’t perform. Excuses don’t work in sport. I am not judging what the other managers say. Jurgen said we had two weeks off. What his purpose for that was I don’t know.”
